As of April 2006, we are using the Linksys ProConnect Serial USB 4-Port Hub USB 2.0 (model: USB2HUB4) which has a NEC USB chipset that we understand to be very stable.
We have also used the D-Link 7-port USB hub (model: DUB-H7) in the past, in part because of their convenient form factor that holds four Tmote devices without requiring extra USB cables. However, with heavy use, we have found they need replacement every 6-8 months.
